Job Title: Maintenance Lead & Maintenance Technician
Location: Germantown, WI
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM) with overtime as needed on weekends
Compensation:
Maintenance Technician: $25.75 - $38.75/hr
Maintenance Lead: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Lead and Maintenance Technicians to join our team at a leading manufacturer of thermoplastics. The ideal candidates will be proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine installs, takedowns, and preventative maintenance. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance and repairs on production machinery, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring optimal performance of all systems. Electrical experience is a plus. The Maintenance Lead will oversee and guide the team, ensuring efficient operations and safety compliance. Both roles require a strong commitment to quality and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Maintenance Technician: Minimum 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Maintenance Lead: Minimum 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with machine installations, takedowns, and preventative maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for production machinery.
- Basic electrical knowledge; experience working with voltages up to 240V is a plus.
- Familiarity with thermoplastics manufacturing equipment preferred but not required.
General Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborative environments.
- Capability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in manufacturing environments, including exposure to heat, noise, and machinery.
Additional Qualifications (Lead Role):
- Proven leadership ability, with skills in team coordination, training, and workflow management.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
